Event Details:
All events will be hosted in the Rosedale Ballroom at the Coast Hotel, located at 45920 First Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P 7K1. With a truly EPIC amount of prizes and formats, this is going to be an amazing day of Magic the Gathering!
Registration Details:
Registration will open online immediately, and can be done in-store at Bastion Games, or on-site at the venue from 11:00 AM on the day of the event. Here is the event information:
Main Event: Modern Open 8 Invite RCQ+
- Start time: 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 3rd
- Entry Fee: $60
- REL: Competitive, a certified Judge will be present. Decklists are required.
Rebound Event: Modern Open 4 Invite RCQ+
- Start time: 4:00 PM, Saturday, August 3rd
- Entry Fee: $60
- REL: Competitive, a certified Judge will be present. Decklists are required.
Rebound Event #2: Last Chance Modern Open 4 Invite RCQ+
- Start time: 6:30 PM, Saturday, August 3rd
- Entry Fee: $60
- REL: Competitive, a certified Judge will be present. Decklists are required.
As you can see, there are a total of 16 Regional invites from this one day of events!
Prize Information:
This event will have huge scaling prizes based on the number of participants to encourage as many people to join as possible. These prizes are in addition to the RCQ+ prize kit contents! There are tons of additional prizes such as oversized cards, trophies, etc.
Prize Tiers:
- 20-40 Participants: $55 per participant into the prize pool ($1100 - $2200)
- 41-70 Participants: $55 per participant into the prize pool ($2255 - $3850)
- 71-100 Participants: $55 per participant into the prize pool ($3950 - $5500)
We will also be running additional events such as the Bastion Games cEDH Open, Bloomburrow 8 Person Drafts, and Winner Takes all Commander Pods.
